Account Registration. When you create a CueBox account, we collect your name, work email address, company name, job title, and password. For paid subscribers, we collect billing information including payment card details (processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers), billing address, and company tax identification information where applicable.
Communications. When you contact us by email, through our contact form, or via support channels, we collect the content of your messages, your contact information, and any attachments you provide. We use this information to respond to your inquiries and, if applicable, improve our products and services.
Product Usage and Content. When you use the CueBox platform, we collect information about the content you create, upload, manage, curate, and publish through the platform, as well as the configurations, settings, and workflows you establish. This content data is treated as confidential and is not accessed by CueBox employees except as necessary for technical support, security monitoring, or as required by law.
Survey and Research Participation. If you participate in user research, surveys, beta programs, or feedback sessions we organize, we collect the responses and information you provide.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data. When you access our Site or platform, we automatically collect technical and usage information, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, features used, time spent on pages, actions taken within the platform, and session timing information. This data is used to analyze how our products are used, diagnose technical problems, and improve the user experience.

Business Transfers. If CueBox is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our Site before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account information is retained for the duration of your active account and for a period of 36 months following account closure, after which it is deleted or anonymized except where longer retention is required by law. Usage logs are retained for 12 months for security and debugging purposes. Billing records are retained for 7 years in compliance with tax and financial record-keeping requirements.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@getcuebex.com. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, subject to our legal obligations and legitimate business interests in retaining certain records.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have specific legal rights regarding your personal data. We honor these rights for all users regardless of jurisdiction.

Deletion. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations and legitimate interests in retaining certain records. See Section 4 above for details on our retention practices.
Objection and Restriction. You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, and to request that we restrict processing while we consider your objection. Where we process your data based on legitimate interests, you may object to that processing at any time.
Withdrawal of Consent. Where we process your data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Marketing Opt-Out. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications from CueBox at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at privacy@getcuebex.com. Transactional communications related to your account are not subject to marketing opt-out.
6. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (we do not sell personal information). You have the right to delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions. You have the right to correct inaccurate personal information. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising). You have the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies that are necessary for the platform and Site to function. 8. Data Security
CueBox implements industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher, encryption of data at rest, access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis, regular security assessments and penetration testing, and incident response procedures for detecting and addressing security events.

9. International Data Transfers
CueBox is headquartered in the United States. If you are located outside the United States and use our platform, your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers from the European Economic Area.
10. Children's Privacy
CueBox's platform and Site are directed to business users and are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 11. Changes to This Policy
